Manjimup Cherry Festival

There could be no better way to celebrate the start of Summer than attending the Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival. An enormous range of local produce is available to sample on the Tastes of Southern Forests food avenue. A crowd favourite is the Cherry pip spitting competition, as well as the log chop and street carnival. End your Saturday evening by dancing the night away at the evening concert and cap it all off at the famous Long Table Lunch where you can dine on fine local cuisine as you sit amongst the local Cherry Orchards.

 

Truffle Kerfuffle June

Manjimup celebration of the truffle season and the very best food and wine of the Southern Forests region. Commencing in 2011 the Truffle Kerfuffle is now the highlight on the Australian tourism calendar.

 

Golf Tournaments

MANJIMUP MOTOR INN,a proud sponsor for the Manjimup Country Club is only 2.5km from town on Perup Road and hosts 3 golf tournaments each year, the most prestigious being the JB Ipsen Memorial Cup which is held in October. There’s also the Manjimup Shoot Out in May and the Kristoffersson Cup in February with limited places for each event, make sure you get in early. The Country Club is set on 71 acres of green grass and reticulated fairways with 18-holes.

 

Speedway – January – April

The Manjimup Speedway complex is located approximately 5kms from town, off the South West Highway towards Walpole, on Middlesex Road Manjimup. With tickets priced at $15.00 for kids and $25.00 for Adults, the Speedway is an affordable and day out! Check out the Formula 500’s, Sprint cars, Modified Sedans and Wingless Sprints.

With the new season fast approaching, the 2018/2019 Calendar is just about set to go, with another big season planned for the South West Venue.

The USA Late Model Invasion tour return on Saturday, January 19, 2019 will headline the new action packed calendar, in what will be the first of two visits for the thundering Late Model division to Manjimup with the second being the Pro Dirt Series on Saturday, March 23, 2019.

With seven nights of racing, these six nights are jam packed full of Speedway entertainment.

Manjimup Agricultural Show – March

Originally established in 1916, the show has grown over the past 100 years, to what it is today. Why not visit the pavilion so you can appreciate the displays of local produce, photography, art and craft? Try your hand at side show alley, whilst you take in the products and information at the trade displays. Take a look at the cattle, the giant pumpkin displays as well as poultry and pets. With a grand parade, rides and show bags, you’re bound to have a great day out.

 

Motor Cross 1500 June long weekend

Australia’s most prestigious outdoor motocross event, and is the mecca of motocross with national and international riders racing against WA’s finest. A great family weekend with riders aging from 4 – 65. Manjimup has produced this magnificient event with a testing racing track on a class on its own.
