Heritage Timber Park

Right in the heart of Manjimup and only 5 minute walk from Manjimup Motor Inn, a family-oriented park set on 10 hectares of natural bushland, with meandering pathways and open lawns, just a 6-minute stroll from the Manjimup Visitor centre. Lots of shade, shelter, seating and barbecues. Visit the State Timber Museum for an informative journey through the time of the timber industry and our rich local heritage. Includes The Bunnings Age of Steam Museum, this museum houses the history of steam in the bush and features the massive Robey Engine that powered the Tone River Mill from the 1950s. The local blacksmith and wood turners are frequently at work in the park. The Historic Hamlet boasts a collection of original buildings with furnishings, artifacts and tools which evoke images of the simple, tough life that the district's pioneers ensured. Buildings include a one room school, doctor's surgery, police lock-up and settler's cottage. Vintage vehicles are on display. There plenty of things for children to do, with playgrounds, old trains and a climbable 18 metre lookout tower
